Happy birthday Stand Tall

Two years ago my husband planted an apple tree in our garden as a gift for our fifth wedding anniversary, for which the traditional present is made of wood. I know, sweet right? It was just as the country was coming out of Covid (for the first time!) and like many others, I had become profoundly aware of how short life can be, questioning what I wanted to accomplish over the years ahead.
