The Yorkshire Tree Party

Yorkshire Tea had planted two-million trees in the UK and Kenya following its five year 'Yorkshire Tree' sustainability project. Together with our PR agency and in-house comms team, we were tasked to plan a proper celebration to share the news with key stakeholders in a way that only Yorkshire Tea would.

110 wonderful people attended the ‘Yorkshire Tree Party’, a unique event in Thorp Perrow Arboretum, hosted in a ‘teapee’ featuring Yorkshire/Kenyan canapés from Tommy Banks, Slingsby Gin cocktails, the Yorkshire Tea brass band and a Woodland photography exhibition. It was a special night indeed and the celebration campaign picked up the PR Moment ‘Purpose Award’ in 2020.
